Thank you for shopping with SM America. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver your orders placed through www.smamerica.com
1. Order Processing Time
- Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
- Orders placed on weekends or U.S. public holidays are processed on the next business day.
- Some special-order or non-stock items may require additional lead time depending on manufacturer availability.
- In such cases, our sales team will contact you with an estimated ship date.
2. Shipping Methods & Carriers
We partner with reliable carriers, including:
UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS, depending on order size, destination, and product type.
For bulk or industrial shipments, we may also arrange LTL freight or customer-designated carriers upon request.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:
- Order weight and dimensions
- Delivery location
- Shipping method selected
For customers with existing accounts or negotiated freight terms, shipping may be invoiced separately or billed to their carrier account (e.g., UPS/FedEx Collect).
4. Delivery Times
Estimated delivery time after dispatch:
- Continental U.S.: 2–7 business days
- Canada & Mexico: 5–10 business days (customs may affect delivery time)
Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and may vary due to weather, customs, or other external factors.
SM America is not responsible for delays beyond our control.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.
You can use this number to monitor your shipment directly through the carrier’s website.
6. Damaged, Lost, or Delayed Shipments
If your shipment arrives damaged or does not arrive within the expected timeframe:
- Contact the carrier immediately to file a claim.
- Notify us at webinquiries@smamerica.com
- within 5 business days of receiving (or expected delivery date).
- Provide your order number, tracking number, and any supporting photos or documents.
We will assist you with the claim process and arrange replacements if applicable.
7. International Shipping (Canada & Mexico)
We currently ship within the Americas region only.
All international orders are subject to:
- Applicable customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees
- Compliance with local import regulations
These fees are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in product or shipping prices.
8. Incorrect Addresses or Delivery Issues
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate before placing the order.
SM America is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
Additional re-shipping fees may apply if packages are returned to us due to address errors.
9. Split Shipments
Depending on inventory locations, we may ship items from multiple warehouses.
If so, you will receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment.
